In 1997, Dan Crichton joined Brackenhurst Baptist Church as a missionary-pastor and served on that pastoral staff for two years until the Lord led him, in 1999, to move with his family to Rustenburg to plant a new Baptist Church—Central Baptist Church (CBC). In 2006 Dan was called back to the United States to take up the pastorate of his sending church, the Greater Rhode Island Baptist Temple.
Chris Lee, another American missionary, was called to replace Dan at Central Baptist and served until March 2011.
Michael Horne joined CBC in January 2011 after finishing his theological studies at George Whitefield Bible College in Cape Town. Michael took over the vocational ministry at CBC following the return of Chris to the United States. Michael finished as vocational pastor at the end of September 2016.
In July 2017, Karabo Msiza started at CBC as fulltime pastor. Karabo graduated with a Bachelor of Theology at Christ Baptist Seminary Polokwane (2014), and was the associate pastor of Modimolle Christian Church in Modimolle from January 2013 to May 2017 until he accepted the call to be fulltime pastor of CBC. He is married to Nkhensani (Khensi) Msiza.
